Steven Harper of the MRF is featured along with Staff Sergeant Marcia Morris Roberts, a recuperating soldier who is learning how to play as part of her rehabilitation plan. Harper says Marcia is "definitely SOLD OUT!" on racquetball.

2012 John LoMonaco Memorial Grant

John LoMonaco passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the age of 57. He collapsed in the locker room of the Spectrum Club in Canoga Park, just after winning his last game against Kevin Barlia. John played three or four times a week and had many wins to his credit, including several NMRA medals and a 55A championship in 2007 at the USAR National Singles in Houston. He lived in West Hills, California, near the club, and ran his own fire safety and inspection business.

Juniors Team Wins At World Championships

The Junior National Racquetball Team returned from the IRF World Junior Racquetball Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with several individual medals and finishes in singles and doubles.

USAR Board Election Results

The results of the USAR BOD election are complete. A trio of candidates earned three-year terms through general election by the membership. They are Laurel Davis, Larry Haemmerle, and Annie Muniz.

Junior Olympics Conclude

The country's best junior racquetball players competed at the Sunset Athletic Club in Portland, OR, June 22-26 in the USAR National Junior Olympic Racquetball Championships presented by ProPenn.

Knoth and Key Win Gold at Collegiates

The 2011 USAR National Intercollegiate Racquetball Championships presented by Penn Racquet Sports concluded as nearly 340 of the best young college racquetball players representing 50 colleges and universities from across the country played for collegiate championships.

For the fourth consecutive year Jackie Paraiso and Aimee Ruiz dominated to win the Women's U.S. Team Qualifying division at the 2011 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championships.

The 2011 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championshipsare in progress (February 9-13, 2011) and are being held in Tempe, AZ on the campus of Arizona State University.

The IRF 22nd World Junior Racquetball Championships concluded at the Spectrum Athletic Club in Canoga Park, CA as over 300 of the best junior racquetball players from across the world gathered to compete for individual and team medals.
